PeopleScout Partners with InterviewStream to Add Video Interviews to its Recruitment and Hiring Solutions
Bethlehem, PA / August 15, 2012
PeopleScout, the world’s leading provider of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) with over 220,000 annual job placements, has chosen InterviewStream to employ its live and pre-recorded video interviewing solutions.
The Chicago-based company is incorporating InterviewStream’s branded video interview technology into its end-to-end RPO solutions and is already experiencing significant time and cost savings for clients, including Burger King Corporation. The video interviews have been extremely successful to date and PeopleScout plans to roll out the new service to other clients: leading organizations in the financial services, telecommunications, transportation, retail, pharmaceutical and utilities sectors.
InterviewStream, which pioneered the video interview market in 2003, edged out a crowd of competing providers thanks to its innovative live interview and panel interview platforms, as well as the exclusive ability to film and record personalized interview questions.
“InterviewStream edged out the competition with its unique features and ease of use,” said Jay Floersch, vice president of business development and solution design for PeopleScout. “As an RPO provider, we’re committed to bringing new technology to the attention of our clients. We need to be as efficient as possible so we are using platforms that are at the front end of innovation.”
Video interviews will primarily be used in the first round of interviews to replace phone screens and costly in-person interviews, reducing time commitments from days to literally hours using InterviewStream’s technology. Since PeopleScout works as a seamless extension of its clients’ talent acquisition group, the video platform is individually branded so candidates see only the employers’ corporate imagery.
“PeopleScout is constantly recognized as a ‘star performer’ in the RPO space, a white-hot market, and they’re responsible for delivering the very best talent to their clients,” said Randy Bitting, chief executive officer and co-founder of InterviewStream. “It’s further proof that video interviewing has established its value among market leaders who recognize its significant time- and cost-saving benefits.”
PeopleScout was recently named a 2012 “Market Leader” in a recent RPO study by Everest Group and reported record revenue and client growth earlier this year. PeopleScout’s parent company, SeatonCorp, was recognized in 2011 by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s top 10 privately held job creators.
Founded in 2003, InterviewStream is the global pioneer of pre-recorded and live video interviewing solutions.
