Video: How to be Comfortable on Camera

We get it. Seeing yourself on camera can be a little bit scary.

Many of us at InterviewStream had our first experience on camera as part of our job. But through a little practice and some help from our colleagues, we were able to become comfortable seeing ourselves on camera every day.

To help others gain this same comfort, we’ve put together a video gallery with the diverse perspectives of a few of our Video Technology Consultants within InterviewStream. These experiences have helped us to become more effective at communicating using video, and we want to share them to help others become equally comfortable.

While these tips focus specifically on InterviewStream’s area of expertise, video interviewing, the same advice can apply to any form of video communication that you may encounter, such as remote meetings or presentations.
