Vice President, Client Success (Chicago, IL)

The Vice President of Client Success will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for leading and coaching a high performing team who are responsible for driving post sales engagement renewals, upsell, facilitating exceptional client management and delivering top notch implementation and support services ensuring high client satisfaction and low churn. The Vice President of Client Success leads a team of Client Success Managers and works closely with Executive team to develop long term strategic plans for team and long-term product revenue growth. Success in this role is dependent upon a successful track record within and managing SAAS client success teams. The position is responsible for strategic account planning and growth within our client base while delivering actionable client insights.

Essential Functions

  • Evaluate current state of client success functions and ongoing transformation programs to prioritize a set of high impact initiatives that evaluate and evolve the client success process and customer experience.
  • Development of business plans, hiring and team development serving our clients and growing business.
  • Drive the growth of interviewstream with hands-on management, direct engagement with account team and identifies account expansion opportunities.
  • Facilitates and conducts meetings with clients to drive value-based activities and results.
  • Understands client needs, participates in solution development and effectively communicates plans for execution.
  • Develops high performing team who understands clients needs, builds client account plans, maintains 97% client retention.
  • Establish relationships with “C” level executives of top clients.
  • Develop and execute performance standards and defined metrics in order to achieve desired corporate objectives and revenue targets.
  • Integral part of the interviewstream Leadership team and should display critical thinking and strategic planning skills.  Plays an active role in the strategic planning process.
  • Manage the renewal and opportunity pipeline and communicate revenue forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned financial objectives.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent is preferred.
  • Typically has 6+ years of deep experience leading successful Client Success teams in SaaS organizations.
  • A motivational management style. Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to work effectively in a professional and team-oriented culture
  • Effective decision-making skills and leadership courage.
  • Prior experience and success building client success teams.

Administrative Assistant / Front Desk (Chicago, IL)

Summary/Objective

The Administrative Assistant / Front Desk handles the general operations of the company and ensures the office is running smoothly on a daily basis. Responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, coordinating administrative procedures and inventory control.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee all administrative functions.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Greet and sign in all clients and visitors.
  • Responsible for facility management.
  • Coordinate office activities and meetings to include any catering needs.
  • Responsible for picking up and sorting mail.
  • Manage travel arrangements.
  • Maintain office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; and ordering when necessary. This does include kitchen supplies, snacks and beverages, office supplies, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping office space spotless and maintained.
  • Assist with new hire set up.
  • Provide assistance to staff as requested.
  • Help coordinate trade shows to include registration, shipping, etc.

Vice President of Sales (Chicago, IL)

Summary/Objectives

We are the industry’s leading interviewing technology – powering a superior interviewing experience that helps companies differentiate themselves and drive outstanding talent acquisition results.

The VP of Sales will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for leading and managing the business development sales team, assisting in closure of new business opportunities and developing strategic sales plans driving to significant revenue growth.

Essential Functions

  • To lead, manage and direct “hunter” sales teams resulting exponential new business growth leading to the attainment of company, team, and individual goals.
  • To build, lead, motivate, and direct the Regional Sales Managers team through effective business plans, goal and target setting, strong leadership
    and effective mentoring and coaching.
  • Establish relationships with “C” level executives of targeted prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute sales performance standards and defined metrics in order to achieve desired corporate objectives and revenue targets for sales teams.
  • An integral part of the RIVS Leadership team and should display critical thinking and strategic planning skills. Plays an active role in the strategic planning process.
  • Willing to travel greater than 25% of the time and actively mentor and support the RSM in their roles. Must have a business presence at the executive level with customers.
  • Provide suitable training and feedback to team members as it relates to client relationships, product knowledge, sales skills, and performance.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline and communicate revenue forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Work closely and support initiatives with Marketing, Customer Success and Product Development.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned financial objectives.

 

The VP of Sales leads a team of Regional Account Managers and works closely with the Executive team to develop long term strategic plans for the team and long-term product revenue growth. Success in this role is dependent upon a successful track record within and managing SAAS sales teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage, direct and develop the business development team.
  • Construct, negotiate and close key relationships critical to the attainment of strategic objectives supporting business revenue goals.
  • Identify, hire and develop key talent capable of executing on individual sales plans and revenue goals.
  • Report and analyze metrics used to manage the day to day operations including sales forecasting, dashboard, pipelines.
  • Oversee contract negotiation and approval process.
  • Define target accounts, strategy, and execution of account planning to ensure successful attainment and penetration of key prospective accounts.
  • Effectively manage the revenue forecasting process with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Works with supervisors/field-based staff to execute on tactical plans.
  • Works with a field-based team to develop plans and tools to help drive revenue growth. Works to remove any operational/organizational barriers that may impede the success of the team.
  • Works with departments across functional areas and business units to identify best practices.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent is preferred.
  • Typically has 8+ years of related experience to include at least 5 years in sales leadership. Experience in SAAS sales is highly preferred.
  • A motivational management style. Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to work effectively in a professional and team-oriented culture.
  • Effective decision-making skills and leadership courage.
  • Prior experience and success building over-achieving sales teams.
  • Consultative selling experience is required, along with excellent communication, negotiating and closing skills.
  • Travel requirement 25%+.
