InterviewStream will help employers and campus recruiting professionals shape their video interview strategy at the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) 2013 Conference and Expo, taking place in Orlando from Tuesday, June 4 through Thursday, June 6.
The global video interview provider will display new social login options, Android and iPhone apps, as well as an exciting new video messaging tool at its expo booth in spaces #204 and #206. NACE attendees will be able to experience these products while watching a contortionist perform as the world’s most flexible interviewer. Visitors can also enter a raffle for a chance to win one of several Keurig Home Brewing systems and a Coach handbag.
More than any other provider at the NACE conference, InterviewStream offers deep expertise with campuses and campus recruiting for companies such as SoloCup, Johnson and Johnson, and Sodexo. More than 4 million college students use the company’s practice platform as part of their course curriculum and to sharpen their job interview skills.
Chief Innovation Officer Randy Bitting will also present the session “What Is Video Strategy” on Thursday, June 6, from 12:10-12:30 p.m. in Theater A. Attendees will learn how to engage students and employers through pre-recorded and live video interviewing, video messaging and mobile technology. He will also demonstrate how to develop a virtual engagement and video strategy for career centers. Attendees are invited to stay for a discussion on best practices used by leading employers to engage and hire more students via video.
Video communication is especially pivotal for this year’s NACE conference, Bitting explains, because the technology has become a crucial campus tool for students entering a wildly competitive job market.
“After ten years of presenting at the NACE conference, video interviewing has established its value among employers who use it to pre-screen job candidates and among career centers who hone their students’ interviewing skills for in-person interviews as well as webcam interviews,” said Bitting. “The question is no longer whether employers have a video strategy…but rather, what IS their strategy going into the fall recruiting season?”
