Region of Waterloo is a regional municipality located in Southern Ontario, Canada. The municipality employs 3,300 people across various cities and townships.
Region of Waterloo were spending over 1,800 hours per year, the equivalent of one FTE, just on scheduling all of their recruitment events. The Region had a rule of thumb to interview at least three to five candidates per vacancy, and in most cases, they would conduct more than one recruitment event, followed by a second interview. The amount of time spent scheduling interviews was taxing on the Region’s hiring resources in terms of time and the tediousness of the back-and-forth emails.
interviewstream exists to create experiences that transform hiring by simplifying interviews, inspiring change and getting hiring done anywhere. The interviewstream platform connects recruitment teams to quality candidates through digital interviews and strives to make the job search and interviewing process easy on both candidates and recruiters.
“We would schedule via email and we would expect at least three to five emails coming back-and-forth between the candidates, where now, it’s one email and done.”
Sheila McIntosh,
Manager of Talent Acquisition
at Region of Waterloo
