University of New Mexico Hospitals (UNMH) comprises the clinical side of the greater UNM universe, including New Mexico’s only academic medical center and the state’s only Level I Trauma Center. UNMH is the primary teaching hospital for the university’s School of Medicine and cares for a large, diverse population with complex and urgent health needs. The health system hires about 1,300 to 1,500 new employees each year.
University of New Mexico Hospitals spent a lot of money on travel expenses to bring candidates on-site for in-person interviews in their Advanced Practice Provider (APP) division.
On average, they spent about $7,500 on flights, hotels, and transportation expenses to bring five candidates on-site per job. With hiring at least 30 employees in the APP division, they would spend about $225,000 per year.
interviewstream exists to create experiences that transform hiring by simplifying interviews, inspiring change and getting hiring done anywhere. The interviewstream platform connects recruitment teams to quality candidates through digital interviews and strives to make the job search and interviewing process easy on both candidates and recruiters.
“I’m now typically under budget on travel, which allows me to do more on the career side, more videos, more engagement pages, something that’s going to help all candidates, whether they’re interviewing with us online or just exploring information about us.”
